Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an Architectural Drafter to fill a Direct Hire opening in Forest Park Area!

Responsibilities:

• Draft/detailed aluminum curtain wall, storefront, skylight, & panel systems in AutoCAD.
• Prepare shop drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details) from project design documents & specifications.
• Utilize shop drawings for project management & field personnel.
• Prepare fabrication drawings from shop drawings, including part, assembly, & operation drawings, material take-offs, and detailed process instructions.
• Fabrication & shop drawings used for manufacturing & assembly in our factory for successful field installation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree
• Previous experience with AutoCAD is required
• Previous experience in Architectural Design is required
• Previous experience in Construction, Carpentry, and/or Custom Fabrication is required
• Manufacturing and/or Fenestration experience is a plus
• Revit & Inventor experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Glazing, Windows, and/or Ornamental Metals is a plus

Compensation: $25-35 an hour
